A Few Reminders about W-2s
During this busy season, we thought you might find a few tips about W-2s to be helpful. We need you to run your W2s this week and raise any concerns you have as soon as possible so that they do not become crises. If you wait until the last minute, there is a good chance we won't be able to address your concerns in time for the deadline.
Remember that you must supply a W-2 to any employee who earned more than $600 in calendar year 2016. Deadline for mailing and submission to the Federal Government is Jan. 31. If you have marked an employee as former, but they worked at some point in 2016, you will need to change their status to current to generate their W-2 for 2016.
