Projects and Volunteer Opportunities

Steelhead Redd Surveys on the Molalla River

Steelhead Redd surveys on the Molalla River were a success again this year.  The volunteers were delayed in getting on the river due to the late heavy snows.  The reach we surveyed on the Table Rock Fork was not accessable until the first week in May due to snow.

The chapter counted over 16 redds which is an increase from the same reach we surveyed last year.  This data is critical in evaluating the health of the steelhead population on the Molalla, one of the larger producers of wild steelhead above Willamette Falls.

Outings!!!!

There are outings every month during the summer and fall.

The outings are fun for both new and experienced anglers alike!  Join us for some fun fishing and story swapping around the dinner table.  Experienced members are very willing to help new anglers learn the fishery and improve your chances.   Join us for a great time!

Check the schedule for a trip near you!
