Timothy Lake:
What to Know About The Lake and N. Arm Campground,
June 7-11.
Join us at Timothy! N. Arm Campground is off the beaten path from the rest of the lakes large campgrounds. N. Arm of Timothy is like your own personal lake! You can still make the 1/2 mile paddle out to the main lake if desired.
The chapter has reserved sites #3, #11, #12, #13. The sites are rated for 8 people max so you can share if none of these are open. Come for the whole week or just a day. Your choice!
Fishing at Timothy
A boat, float tube, pontoon boat is highly desirable at Timothy. There is some shore access but be prepared to hike if you want to cover any water.
An intermediate sink line or a mini tip on a floating line are good tools at Timothy. 5 Wt or 6 Wt rods are great choices. The weather looks cool and cloudy so think Mayfly patterns. Hare's ears, pheasant tails, callibaetis are all good patterns. Traditional lake patterns like wooly buggers in black, olive and brown/orange are all productive. Always have ant and beetle patterns for that terrestrial hatch.
Cooking is on your own, but there is usually a pot luck dinner one night.
Hope to see you there!
