Youth Camp
2022 Update
The CRTU Board unanimously approved the go ahead for Youth Camp 2022.  We will be on Quartzville Creek in the Santiam basin July 28-31.

After a lot of discussion with our board, the safety protocols are as follows:

Campers and volunteers must be vaccinated to attend.

We are limiting campers to a total of 10.

We will not be accepting parent attendees this year.

We will monitor health of all campers and staff during camp.  If someone shows symptoms, they will be isolated from the group.

If you know of someone who is interested in camp this year,

Jack Hagan talks local bass fishing and tying bass flies.

Yes, I know, there are winter steelhead around but all the guides that talk about that stuff are out fishing.  You can get ready for the next season on the lower Willamette though, Smallmouth Bass!

Jack Hagan is a veteran of local bass fishing and tying flies to go after them.  If you want some good fly tying instruction, join us on Tuesday March 8 for a great session.  Grab a beverage and zoom with us!

Our bass picture is not Jack, but a bass nut, Mark MIddleton, TU member and great fishing buddy.  Mark has been Kayak bass fishing and is active in the Oregon Kayak Bass Anglers.

Jack Hagan

In addition to managing the store, Jack has been guiding Oregon’s premier wild fish waters since 1996. For someone who grew up to manage a fishin’ store, Jack started his fishing life at a disadvantage, having gone straight from a snoopy rod to a fly rod at an early age.
