George Krumm Presents Fishing the Naknek

The Naknek River has world-renowned Rainbow Trout and salmon fishing. The River is 35 miles long between Naknek Lake and the Bering Sea. Most fishing takes place in upper 15 miles of the River beyond the reach of tide water.  While many anglers target King, Coho and Sockeye fishing in the Naknek, the hunt for big rainbows over 30" and 10+ pounds will get your heart beating.

George Krumm is the Editor in Chief of Fish Alaska and Hunt Alaska magazine and has all the info on how to time a trip and best methods to fish for those reel-screaming rainbows.  George lives in Estacada in the off season.

If you are thinking about a trip to Alaska, it's a good time to start planning and George can give you great tips on when and where.
