THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND!

Jesus Christ our Living Lord!

The most important day in the history of mankind is the day that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and defeated the grave!

While dying on the cross Jesus paid the penalty for the sins of the whole world . . . and at that point He declared that His sacrifice was finished . . . God's plan was not yet complete!

If His dying was all there was to it, in reality there would have been no proof of His promises regarding forgiveness, pardon, everlasting life, heaven or anything else if He were left in the grave!


BUT GOD had a perfect plan!  Beginning with the prophesied promises; consummated with the virgin birth; proclaimed through a sinless life; secured with the crucifixion - - all of these elements were important - yeah crucial indeed!  But all of these elements were just steps to this one, all important event which had to take place in order for all the rest to have their full meaning and impact!

A plan that not only made promises of our salvation . . . but a plan that PROVED IT WAS THE TRUTH through the resurrection!

The resurrection of Jesus is not our salvation for that indeed was accomplished on the cross that dark day long ago!

The resurrection of Jesus is the GUARANTEE that all God promised and all Jesus proclaimed were not mere words!  The Good News proclaimed in Christ Jesus was not false promises and wishful desires!

The resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ proved that God's love is true and all the prophets of old and the very message of Christ Jesus Himself contains not a shadow of a doubt because Christ Jesus is the only one who kept His promise to leave the grave!

Because He was raised from the dead - - we know His salvation of us is genuine!
Because He was raised from the dead - - we know that Heaven is real and has room for us!
Because He was raised from the dead - - we know that He is our eternal expectation!
Because He was raised from the dead - - He was able to ascend into Heaven!
Because He was raised from the dead - - He was able to be seated at God's right hand!
Because He was raised from the dead - - He was able to become our intercessor!
Because He was raised from the dead - - His destruction of the devil and sin is certain!
Because He was raised from the dead - - our resurrection is made certain!
Because He was raised from the dead - - our reconciliation is unquestionable!
Because He was raised from the dead - - The Holy Ghost was able to be released upon us!
Because He was raised from the dead - - we no longer need live in fear of any kind!
Because He was raised from the dead - - the list goes on and on!

Resurrection day - - the most important day in the history of mankind because everything about Jesus Christ - God's message of love towards all mankind - was assured to survive forever and ever!

Resurrection Day - - the ultimate reason we can have the faith we need in Christ Jesus as Lord to be our Salvation for all eternity!
