Dear Subscriber,
This week we are battling deceptions ... not general deception but huge, gigantic, bold, outright deceptions of the devil that have swept perhaps millions of people - including Christians - into the brambles and briers of doubting the Truth of God's Word - thus doubting God Himself!
And we are not talking about a little doubt ... we are talking about actually disbelieving God in favor of believing some thing or some one else!
Unfortunately, once again there has risen a ground swell of worry in the world about what has been touted as a very possible, impending date on which the world as we know it will come to an end ... and perhaps even the human race as we know it may be coming to an end!
Notice I said "worry". What is "worry"? Worry is be drawn by two opposite claims of reality or truth and while desperate that one is the truth you are afraid that the other is actually the truth!
What an awful state! Worry not about tomorrow for today is full enough of its own evils! Yet that is just exactly what the devil does to the minds and souls of men and women throughout the ages ... tormenting them with his own version of what will be in order to cause doubt that tears down our trust in God!
King David had the best antidote for this dilemma: WHAT TIME I AM AFRAID, I WILL TRUST IN THEE LORD! I WILL NOT FEAR WHAT FLESH CAN DO TO ME! (My paraphrase of Psalm 56:3-4)
ARE YOU AFRAID? Being afraid is no sin! Choosing to allow being afraid to become fear that controls our lives however, IS a sin! And what is FEAR? Fear is believing that what God says is not true! In other words, fear is believing that God has or will fail you!
Being "afraid" is just the initial assault against you by fear ... it is fear's initial effort in trying to gain a stronghold of control in your thoughts thus your life!
So then, ANSWER "AFRAIDNESS" WITH YOUR DECISION AND DECLARATION TO TRUST IN OUR HEAVENLY FATHER, GOD ALMIGHTY!

SO, WHAT IS THE TRUTH ABOUT THE MAYAN PREDICTION ABOUT THE END OF THE WORLD IN 2012?
Greetings Saints! Well here is something for your friends and dear ones who have been
"worried" (although many won't admit it) about the Mayan predicted end of the
world! You know, that on December 21st of 2012 the world as we know it, and perhaps the human race as we know it, is coming to a cataclysmic end!
This is one of those issues in which I thank God for my Glenda!
When this Mayan Calendar - 2012 thing started gaining such wide spread
popularity I shared with Glenda that the Mayans, being pagan, could not correctly
forecast the end of the world because that is in the purview of God, The Father, alone and Glenda and I
have had many discussions on this very subject over the last several years and
more as the "fatal date" draws nearer.
The one thing that gets me up in arms more than anything else over things
like this and so-called prophets really psychics (Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, yes
even Jean Dixon - !) is that these are all part of the devil's seductions to
replace God's Word - thus Truth - with deceptions to keep the lost in darkness
and the saints in deception!
The one thing that this whole Mayan Calendar issue has been successful in is this: Causing the casual Christian - the carnal Christian - to forget (if they ever knew in the first place) that the Book of The Revelation and the Book of Daniel are not the only prophecies that deal with the conclusion of the human dominion of the earth! How many nominal Christians are even aware that JESUS had much to say on the "end of the age" which we are now experiencing?!
These same "claim to be" Christians have become some of the strongest advocates of being fearful of the Mayan predictions of doom - and so many similar things - which have served satan all too well in leading lost people away from the Truth of God! Every moment speaking and living in fear of December 21, 2012 by "claim to be" Christians is a moment that God's Word IS NOT being declared and His Truth is being replaced by another of satan's lies!
Now for why I thank God for Glenda - - Wednesday afternoon, with no previous discussion
on the matter, Glenda said she needs to clarify something that I had told her
about years ago. She then asked me if I had told her about a problem with
our present day calendar and wasn't there some discrepancy in the years and so
aren't we several years behind or ahead of what the calendar says that this year
is? I again explained to her the discrepancy that occurred when the Gregorian
calendar was developed and said that due to this we are several years off ... and then I asked
her why.
She then asked me: "If this was the case, then doesn't this make the
Mayan Calendar forecast of the catastrophic end to the world (or whatever) in
the wrong year - - shouldn't it already have happened, or will it happen
later? Which is it? Either way, THEY ARE WRONG!"
So, I went to Google to verify my information (because I had long ago
forgotten all about this) and sure enough, there is a discrepancy of at least
one year but more likely closer to 7 or possibly 8 years which means that I
wasn't really born in 1956 AD (A.D. Is figured from the Nativity) but the actual
year is 1952-48! This all means that ...
... Because of this discrepancy, according to the Mayans calendar correctly
translated to the present day time-line, the end of the world has already
happened and wouldn't you know it? WE MISSED THE WHOLE THING!
OR - It could be
that the discrepancy is only one year and the end of the world according to the
Mayans will actually be on December 21 of THIS YEAR! Uh-oh! Are you ready?
LOL
Either way, in my cursory searching, it seems that in translating the Mayan Calendar of Doom, the discrepancy in the actual time line caused by our modern calendar was not taken really taken into consideration or it was discounted altogether! But that's just the way of deception ... when the light of truth begins to shine on it, it shuffles and slides, makes excuses or deny the reality!
So with this I say, to you who are steadfast, faithful saints not tossed to or fro by the winds of world system doctrines ... shine the light of the truth into the lives of those brothers and sisters in Christ who have been beguiled into giving any regard to this latest demonic deception unleashed upon the world! Explain to them the flaws of the calendar comparisons and then remind them that there is no way that pagan prophecies can be accurate since pagan cultures are directed by satan! Ask them if their believing this Mayan stuff glorifies God or how is it winning souls to Jesus? (Be prepared, there will be some who will make a lot of effort to rationalize and justify their fascination with this deception!)
And finally I leave you with this ... NOTICE HOW THE PAGAN DECEPTIONS NEVER GIVE ANY HOPE IN THEIR SO-CALLED PROPHECIES?
COMPARED TO GOD'S WORD, HIS PROPHECIES - AS DIRE AS MANY OF THEM ARE - ALWAYS HAVE THE END RESULT OF GIVING US REASON TO HAVE HOPE ... TRUE HOPE AS GOD'S CHILDREN IN CHRIST JESUS!

When we become aware of demonic deception gaining entrance into the thoughts of God's people, we are to warn them of the danger they are flirting with; we are to warn the wicked who are perpetrating these deceptions upon God's children in an effort to bring them to repentance ... and freedom!

Former Evangelical Leader Now
Condemns Conservatives
A former chief lobbyist
of the National Association of Evangelicals believes the "old guard" is
the chief enemy of the modern-day church.
Richard Cizik was forced to resign from his position after stating in a
National Public Radio (NPR) interview that he favors same-sex civil
unions. He has since become a fellow at the Open Society Institute, an
organization founded by billionaire atheist George Soros, and he has
also taken a position at billionaire Ted Turner's United Nations
Foundation.
According to Jeff Walton, communications manager for The Institute on
Religion & Democracy (IRD), in Cizik's recent speech at the
Washington Cathedral on the topic of civility, "he identified the main
opponent to civility as being what he called the 'old guard' of the
religious right -- a figure that he identified such as James Dobson --
and he seemed to conflate that with the tea party, which he seems to
have a strong dislike for."
"Frankly, there is a roadside bomb on this road that the religious right
and now the tea party is taking us," Cizik stated in his address.
Walton finds that thinking "very interesting" coming from "someone who
had a lot of credibility in conservative circles, but has since really
jettisoned a lot of that and latched onto figures such as Turner, Soros
and other groups that have little to no interest [in]...and are in
opposition to many of the things of the Christian Church."
In the IRD communications manager's opinion, the former NAE lobbyist
tries to validate his thinking by suggesting that it is in line with the
attitudes of the nation's youth. But Walton believes that is not true
in most cases. He further decides Cizik is saying evangelicals in
America are backwards, while he thinks he is "more progressive."
