Hello,
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

As we take a day to pay special attention to our earthly fathers, may I suggest to make this a day for every father to bring the focus of his family on our Heavenly Father to Whom ALL honor and glory is due!

Take time to share with our families the attributes of God that causes Him to bestow His love upon us through Jesus Christ!  What a perfect day to share the "love of the Father" with our children and grandchildren!

What I am suggesting is not to just remember Abba Father ... BUT TO FOCUS ON HIM this day!  As your family's father, lead your family to honor our Heavenly Father at the beginning of the day's festivities and you may just find that doing so will have an impact upon your family that lasts an eternity!

Many Blessings!
Dr. Timothy

   OUR FATHER!
Uniqueness Of "Our Father"
It is said that the Muslims have 99 names for the Supreme Being, but there is none that resembles the intimacy of the Christian's "Our Father." The tender love of God for His children is only revealed in the Bible.

Heathen religions present their deities as gods who should be feared, but do not conceive of them as gracious, compassionate beings filled with concern for suffering humanity.

The Christian alone is able to look up with the intimacy of a child stretching forth his arms to his affectionate parent and exclaiming, "Abba, Father!" (Galatians 4:6).
The term "abba" literally means "papa."

Brokenhearted Father

Among the first glimpses we get of our God is that of a Seeker: " Adam...Where art thou?" (Genesis 3:9). In commenting upon this question to his Bible class, a teacher said, "You can never be a preacher if you read it as though God were a policeman. Read it as though God were a brokenhearted Father looking for a lost child!"

GOD THE FATHER
In the Christian religion God is conceived of as "Father," "Our Father .... in heaven" (Matthew 6:9, 14, 26, etc.), "the God and Father of the Lord Jesus" (2 Cor. 11:31, etc.). The tenderness of relation and wealth of love and grace embraced in this profound designation are peculiar to Christ's gospel. Pagan religions also could speak of God as "Father" (Zeus Pater), and in the general sense of Creator God has a universal fatherly relation to the world (Acts 17:24-28). In the Old Testament God was revealed as Father to the chosen nation (Exodus 4:22), and to the special representative of the nation, the king (2 Samuel 7:14), while fatherly love is declared to be the image of His pity for those who fear Him (Psalm 103:13). In the gospel of Jesus alone is this Fatherhood revealed to be of the very essence of the Godhead, and to have respect to the individual. Here, however, there is need for great discrimination. To reach the heart of the truth of the Divine Fatherhood it is necessary to begin, not with man, but with the Godhead itself, in whose eternal depths is found the spring of that Fatherly love that reveals itself in time. It is first of all in relation to the eternal Son—before all time—that the meaning of Fatherhood in God is made clear (John 1:18). In "God the Father" we have a name pointing to that relation which the first Person in the adorable Trinity sustains to "Son" and "Holy Spirit"—also Divine (Matthew 28:19). From this eternal fountain-head flow the relations of God as Father (1) to the world by creation; (2) to believers by grace. Man as created was designed by affinity of nature for sonship to God. The realization of this—his true creature-destiny—was frustrated by sin, and can now only be restored by redemption. Hence, the place of sonship in the gospel, as an unspeakable privilege (1 John 3:1), obtained by grace, through regeneration (John 1:12, 13), and adoption (Romans 8:14, 19). In this relation of nearness and privilege to the Father in the kingdom of His Son (Col. 1:13), believers are "sons of God" in a sense true of no others. It is a relation, not of nature, but of grace. Fatherhood is now the determinative fact in God's relation to them (Ephes. 3:14ff). It is an error, nevertheless, to speak of fatherhood as if the whole character of God was therein sufficiently expressed. God is Father, but equally fundamental is His relation to His world as its Moral Ruler and Judge. From eternity to eternity the holy God must pronounce Himself against sin (Romans 1:18); and His fatherly grace cannot avert judgment where the heart remains hard and impenitent (Romans 2:1-9).

PROPHET'S CORNER

IT’S TIME FOR THE “SHOUT”

It’s all over but the “Shouting”, and that is the truth. This shouting is not just what we have known as people making a loud noise. In fact we probably do not know what a loud noise is until we hear this noise. This “Shout” is unique and unprecedented. The Son Of God died on that old rugged Cross to earn this right to give the “SHOUT ” of the ages.

This shout will signal that the “Day Of The Lord” has arrived. It will be so earth shattering that every “Saints” in the graves of the earth will hear and will arise fully alive in glorified bodies. Isaiah described it in unmistakable terms. The earth in its cursed state will actually hurl them out of its grip.“Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. (Isaiah 26:19)

The Son of God is so committed to the success of this events that He comes down Himself. In fact He comes down “SHOUTING”. It appears to me that a trumpet blast precedes his shouting. This trumpet is the right Horn of a Ram and represents the 100th trumpet of the Feast of Trumpets. It’s a special sound that awake the Saintly dead so they can then hear the Lord Jesus Christ when He shouts. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:”(I Thessalonians 4:16)

Notice how Apostle Paul emphasizes, “The Lord Himself”. There is a lot of shouting that is right down this tough road we are traveling and it will make it all worth while. This trumpet is like a talking trumpet because there will be no misunderstanding of what it is saying. Then the Lord shouts and the Archangels cry’s with a loud voice and then it will be our time for shouting.“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;” (Revelation 5:9)

God’s Saints are soon to be out of hear with a lot of shouting both from above and from below.

FROM LEADERS IN MINISTRY

What's it going to take?

By:  Bill Wilson

The Congress and the White House are locking horns over the audacity of the president reporting to Congress that the United States is not involved in hostilities in Libya. Even deeper is seemingly overwhelming evidence that the White House is funding Libyan rebels with ties to al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood, a terrorist sponsoring group wishing to overthrow the United States with "Civilization Jihad," is now a foreign policy partner. Peeling back the layers of deception on this political onion reveals an undeniable trend that this White House is supporting the advancement of radical Islam through its Middle East "reform" policy, which is a threat to national security--a genuine Constitutional crisis.

Last week, my son Christian had dinner with House Speaker John Boehner. It's part of the Ashbrook Center for Public Affairs at Ashland University where my son participates as an Ashbrook Scholar. Christian was all fired up that Congressman Boehner was going to take on the president with respect to the illegal and unethical war in Libya. But Christian has also lamented that so very few of his generation even know that we are in a war in Libya. He says that so many of his contemporaries are more concerned about partying, playing video games, and hanging out, that they could care less about the direction their country is taking. He believes it poses an extraordinary challenge for future leaders.

Another leadership vacuum...On one end of the spectrum, the church is busy laying hands on people and prophesying about how many great things they are going to be doing, jobs they are going to have, wealth they are going to accumulate and on and on. On the other end of the spectrum, the church is busy sitting in its pews on Sundays, listening to another boring sermon, looking at their watches and eager to get it over with. In between are the workers busy doing a lot and getting nothing done. There is a small, and I believe it to be very small, remnant that is concerned about the very salvation of their neighbors and the soul of their nation. They are trying really hard to do what is right in the eyes of God.

I remember the Vietnam War era where the communists organized gullible young people into massive protest forces against war. Are communists the only ones that organize war protests? Can it be that good people, with solid morals, who know right from wrong, and strive to do the right thing, just do not want to put their foot down and draw a line in the sand? Is it going to take our sons or grandsons being killed in the vain support of a disguised Islamic Caliphate before we act? You see, this is not just about America, its about the advance of a principality of darkness manifest in the physical. Romans 13:12 says, "The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light."
