UWG wants to gauge students' experiences in college, both inside and outside the classroom, as well as faculty practices linked with high levels of learning and development using the NSSE and FSSE. The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) will be open until mid-May. The Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE) runs through May 9. If you have questions, please contact Amanda Thomas at amandat@westga.edu or 678-839-6449.

Dr. Crafton hits the "submit" button to apply to the Carnegie Foundation for UWG to be recognized as a community engaged institution. Kudos to the Self-Study Team for their insight and tireless work preparing this 104-page application over the last few months–Amanda Wright, Dr. David Newton, Cait Oliver, Nichole Fannin, Dr. Melanie McClellan, Dr. Chapman Rackaway, Mark Reeves, Dr. Amber Smallwood, Amanda Thomas and Dr. Alicia Welch. Carnegie's decision will be announced in January 2020.
