High Volume Design Requests
As we excitedly lead up to the start of the fall 2019 semester, the members of the University Communications and Marketing graphic design team are receiving a high volume of requests for projects and assets, resulting in a longer-than-average turnaround time for completion of requests. Please bear with them as they work through this high number of requests to provide all university departments and divisions with quality work.

Changes in Employee Status
When a faculty, staff or temporary employee terminates employment with the university, department managers should complete the termination notification web form. Ideally, the form would be submitted as soon as the last day of employment is known but must be submitted no later than five days after the termination date. This form also needs to be submitted within 30 days for employees who change departments on campus.

EAP Program Reminder
As a UWG employee, you have access to the Employee Assistance Program, where you can receive counseling, consultation, referrals and resources for childcare, elder care, financial or other legal needs. These services are free and confidential for eligible employees. Two EAP vendors and contact information are listed below.

KEPRO: 1-844-243-4440. Available 24/7, 365 days a year. Your password is USGcares.
Tanner: 770-834-8327. Available M-F, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Faculty/Staff Parking Decals
UWG faculty/staff parking decal renewal continues for the 2019-20 academic year. The renewal fee is due by Aug. 24 to avoid parking citations. Employees will use their current UWG parking decal. The renewal fee is $15, payable by cash or check only. Checks may be sent via campus mail, or employees may drop by Row Hall to pay in person. All checks should be made out to UWG and have the employee ID number (917) listed on it. Please be advised that any outstanding parking fees and/or tickets must be paid before the decal can be renewed.

UWG would like to welcome the newest employees who recently attended the Wolf Life Day 2 New Employee Orientation.
Unpack the Pack
UWG will be welcoming new and returning students onto campus and into residence halls Saturday, Aug. 10. Volunteers will be needed to help with food and water distribution, check-ins, vehicle unpacking, rolling cart management, elevator management, traffic management and recycling. Please consider volunteering to Unpack the Pack and positively impact this special day for our students. Contact unpack@westga.edu with questions.
