SAC Update
SAC wanted to share an update that all 18 children we were working through DFACS to provide Christmas have been spoken for. A heart-felt thank you to all who have reached out to sponsor a child. You truly are making a difference in the lives of these children.
Points of Pride
The October Points of Pride have been posted on the
President's website.
New Parking Lot
Parking Services announces the opening of Campus Center Lot 12A. This parking lot was built over the old substation location to create a total of 47 new spaces, two of which are additional ADA spots. The lot is designated "open parking" available for all currently registered vehicles with the exception of residential freshmen.
SRT Training
The Special Response Team from the Carrollton Police Department will be conducting a training exercise at Watson Hall on
Tuesday, December 5.
Purchasing/Pcard Forum
The purchasing staff will host a refresher meeting on how goods and services are purchased on December 12 from 10-11:30 a.m. in the Campus Center Ballroom 108.1. Both new and seasoned employees are encouraged to attend. After discussing general purchasing topics, time will be devoted to the p-card plan with a demonstration on the Works website and how to complete google logs. Cardholders and approvers will be given training credit for attending.
Supervisor and Management Training Program
Training is available for all supervisors and managers who are responsible for guiding the work of others. The first session in December will focus on performance management as we prepare to enter into the performance evaluation season. To register for a session, log in to

Student Activitiy Fee Budget Allocation
The Student Activity Fee Budget Allocation (SAFBA) Committee is now accepting proposals for funding from student activity fees for the 2018-2019 academic year with a December 15 deadline. To apply for funds, complete one of the forms located in
Orgsync. Use your university credentials to log in. Then search for and click on the SAFBA portal, click on forms and complete the appropriate form. Contact Chris Geiger in the Center for Student Involvement with any questions.
