Step Up to the Plate
Show your UWG pride and help students at the same time by purchasing the UWG affinity license plate. UWG needs 10 more people to sign up for the new plate to meet the minimum number required by the state. UWG receives $10 for each tag sold to help fund scholarships for undergraduate students. The cost includes a one time $25 manufacturing fee, a $20 annual registration fee and a $35 annual special tag fee. Click here for more information on how to get yours.

Paperless Travel Policy
With the February 1, 2018 effective date approaching for the required paperless employee travel & expense process, please let Travel Services know if your area would like individual/group training. They will be glad to work with your area to schedule a time, date and location. Please contact Anita Saunders at 96394 or asaunder@westga.edu.

Meal Reimbursements
A friendly reminder regarding meal reimbursements for in-state travel only: effective for travel on or after September 1, 2017. First and last day meals are calculated at 100 percent per diem for in-state travel. Expense reimbursements are reviewed based on the amount approved & submitted, not exceeding the allowable reimbursement limits.

Book Scholarship Award
Participating in TAP and have textbook expenses? Let the Staff Advisory Council help. Apply today and win a reimbursement for up to $50 and receive another $100 to use at the UWG Bookstore towards the purchase of textbooks. Applications will be accepted until January 16. Professional Development Award
The Staff Advisory Council is taking applications for the Professional Development Award. The winners will receive reimbursement for up to $250 towards the cost of travel/registration. Complete this short form to apply. Applications will be accepted until March 1.

The Work West Bulletin

The Work West Bulletin will provide you with the information you need to get through your work week. This bulletin is a visually interactive way to share important dates, deadlines, policy changes, and training information all in one place. The Work West Bulletin will be published weekly on Mondays to all faculty and staff.

Items can be submitted to the bulletin via email: report@westga.edu. Bulletin announcements (100 words or less) should be submitted by noon on Thursday before the following Monday's publishing date.
