At the link, you will find avatars for all social channels.

Contractors will have the south entrance of the Tyus parking lot (closest to the ATM) blocked off through August 24 as part of the power installation to the New Student Health Center. The north entrance across from the College of Education will remain open.

Beginning Monday, July 2, Facilities will repair the concrete at the Education Center loading dock. The work will continue through July 5. The loading dock will be open, but the steps leading up to it will be closed.

SecureWest Access Key
SecureWest wireless keys expired after July 1. You will no longer be able to access WiFi until you generate a new key through WelcomeWest. Your new key may be used on any device and the new key will be set to "never expire" during your time on the UWG campus.  Don't wait for your old wireless key to expire and lose connectivity. Request your new SecureWest access key at
https://www.westga.edu/its/wireless.php.

Energy Conservation Efforts
Please be advised that for the July 4 holiday, the HVAC and lighting for the Carrollton and Newnan campuses will be operated in an energy conservation mode. The holiday schedule will begin Tuesday at 10 p.m. and will resume normal operation on Thursday morning at 4 a.m. This means that the cooling set points for the buildings will be set at 80 degrees Fahrenheit and the primary lighting in the buildings will be off.

Research spaces will not be placed on an energy conservation schedule to protect the integrity of the research project. If you have a critical research project in a space that has not been identified as such with Facilities, please notify WIC of the space requiring an exception from the energy conservation schedule.

If you have an event scheduled during this time that requires an exception from the energy conservation schedule, please e-mail WIC with your event schedule and the building needing an exception. Submitting a WIC request for an exception from the energy conservation schedule will allow the energy management system to be programmed to accommodate your request.

Work West Wednesday
The next Work West Wednesday is on July 4 when UWG will be closed. We have approval to wear the Work West shirts on Wednesday, July 11. Wear your Work West red shirt to show your Work West pride.
