UWG Fuel Pump/PIN Update

The state of Georgia recently updated the requirements for employees to possess a fuel card/PIN. In order to keep individual fuel PINs active, the following steps must be completed:

  1. Signed fuel card user agreement
  2. Signed Class C Operator form
  3. Certificate of completion for UWG Fuel Card & Fuel Pump Training

The Fuel Card User Agreement and Class C Operator forms can be found on the purchasing website under Forms. All three items should be emailed to Jenny Ingram in purchasing or sent in campus mail to her attention in Aycock Hall.

The online training module was recently updated per state requirements. All fuel PIN users must take the updated training and have forms on file with Purchasing prior to Mar. 3. If not completed by the deadline, PINs will be temporarily deactivated until training and forms are received. Please note that your PIN may be currently deactivated if it has not been used recently. To have it reactivated, simply complete the steps above.

What to know about fuel card training?

Thanks to the Center for Business Excellence, we have the training online through DevelopWest.

1.        Login to DevelopWest using your UWG credentials.

2.        Search for the UWG Fuel Card & Fuel PumpTraining module.

3.        Once finished, please forward a screenshot of the completion certificate by email or           hard copy to Jenny Ingram's attention in purchasing.

Questions or concerns such as forgotten PINs can be directed to Jenny Ingram or by calling 678-839-5536. For more fuel card information, please contact Chris Bradford.

NSSE/FSSE Launch

UWG wants to gauge students' experiences in college–both inside and outside the
classroom–as well as faculty practices linked with high levels of learning and
development using the NSSE and FSSE. The National Survey of Student Engagement
(NSSE) went out to first-year and senior students via campus email on Feb. 14 and will be
open until mid-May. The Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE) begins March
26 and runs through May 9. If you have questions, please contact Amanda Thomas
at amandat@westga.edu or 678-839-6449.
