All events should be submitted to the official university Events Calendar.
Beginning Monday, March 19, Facilities will perform concrete work between Humanities and Bowdon Hall. The work will continue through the remainder of the week. Please use caution when traveling in the area and obey all barricades.

Beginning Tuesday, March 20, Facilities will be installing sliding doors at the main entrance to the UCC building. The Market Fresh Deli will be open 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. each day, but please use the Wolves Den entrance or the back employee entrance. The work will continue through the remainder of the week. 
During the week of March 26, the Center for Business Excellence will offer Department Approver Training for approving expenses in PeopleSoft for travel, requisitions and P-card. Please log into DevelopWest to register.

OneUSG trainings have begun and will be ongoing through the conversion on Sunday, March 25. Please register for the appropriate training(s) by logging into  DevelopWest and navigating to Instructor Led Training. 

Spring Break Hours
Dine West Spring Break hours include Starbucks, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Market Fresh Deli, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Your work sets standards for others to follow and opens doors to new ideas and possibilities. University Communications and Marketing wants to share your expertise in our communities and beyond through speaking opportunities, media interviews, social media campaigns and other ways. 
They need your help. If you haven’t done so, please complete or update your personal online directory profile using WebCV by following this link. Here you will find a video on how to use WebCV and a login to access the application. Just use your UWG username and password. Next, you will need to set up and include your WebCV skills profile. To do so, access this video which will guide you through that process. Please contact Gary Leftwich with any questions. 

Save the Date: IT Forum 2018
The University of West Georgia’s Department of Educational Technology and Foundations (ETF), in collaboration with the Georgia Association for Instructional Technology (GAIT), will host the First Annual Instructional Technology (IT) Forum. The IT Forum is a one-day professional development program for pre-K-12 teachers, school library media and instructional technology specialists, administrators and staff as well as scholars and practitioners from diverse settings. The event will take place at UWG on Saturday,

Administrative Professionals Conference
Be a part of the inaugural Administrative Professionals Conference at UWG Newnan on Wednesday, May 9. This conference is intended to reach office administrators, administrative assistants, HR representatives, meeting and event planners and anyone who would benefit from a day away from the office to return more engaged and more productive. Gather with other administrative professionals for a day of practical tips for enriching your administrative skills and amplifying your professional strengths and talents. The Work West Bulletin

The Work West Bulletin provides you with the information you need to get through your work week. This bulletin is a visually interactive way to share important dates, deadlines, policy changes, and training information all in one place. The Work West Bulletin is published weekly on Monday to all faculty and staff.

Items can be submitted to the bulletin via email: report@westga.edu. Bulletin announcements (100 words or less) should be submitted by noon on Thursday before the following Monday's publishing date. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact UCM.
