Changes Coming Soon to the Work West Bulletin
Beginning in January 2020, we will be retiring the Work West Bulletin after three-and-a-half years of informing you of what you need to know to get through your workweek. We have begun utilizing the Work West Webspace as an online portal in which you can access all of the information – and more – that's been in the weekly bulletin.

Starting in January, we will commit our efforts in this area exclusively to the Work West Webspace, which you can easily access by visiting workwest.westga.edu and logging in using your single sign-on username and password.

Content on the Work West Webspace includes university news and announcements, events that are relevant to you, professional development and training opportunities, and feature stories on our amazing faculty and staff.

Please bookmark the Work West Webspace and check it often. There's a lot of valuable content there already, but there will be even more starting next year.

Fuel Card PIN Training
UWG has received new information from the Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) regarding revisions to the Statewide Fuel Card Standards and Guidelines for existing fuel PIN holders and the issuance of new PINs. All existing fuel PIN holders and prospective PIN holders must take/watch fuel card training video and complete the acknowledgment of Statewide Fuel Card Standards and Guidelines by January 2020.

Links to the training can be found on the Fleet Services website within Campus Planning and Facilities.  Once at the site, clicking on the WEX Fuel Card Training hyperlink will provide you the information you need to complete the required information.

A separate email will be sent to existing fuel PIN holders as a followup to this email.  Employees wanting or needing a fuel card PIN should follow the same links identified above to complete the training and request a PIN.

Times Talks at West Georgia

Cybersecurity Safety Tips
Today's technology makes a lot of things in our lives easier. Along with that ease of use comes added risks. Identity theft and credit card fraud increase in frequency every year. There are a few steps you can take to help stay safe at work and at home.

Use multi-factor authentication wherever possible.
Choose strong passwords and do not reuse them.
Keep your software applications patched and up to date.
Don't click that link unless you are 100 percent certain it is safe.
Avoid using free Wi-Fi hotspots.
