During the week of Sept. 23, the Center for Business Excellence will offer Budget Report, Departmental Approver, DevelopWest Manager Reporting and Account Reconciliation training. To register for a particular training session, please log into DevelopWest and click on Instructor-Led Training on the home page and search for the training in which you wish to enroll.
The Center for Adult Learners and Veterans will be providing Green Zone training on September 11 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Similar to Safe Zone, Green Zone provides participants with tools to understand the experiences of our military-connected students and the confidence to act as advocates for them on campus. Registration can be completed through DevelopWest.

SAC Chair-Elect
Congratulations to Shawn Isaacs for being elected to the Chair-Elect position for the Staff Advisory Council for a 2-year term. Thank you to those who participated in the voting process. 

Watson Hall Parking
Due to the closure of the Watson Hall parking lot, Parking Services has added 20 faculty/staff parking spaces in the Tyus lot. These additional spaces are on the first row closest to West Georgia Drive.

Purchasing Forum
Purchasing invites faculty and staff to attend the fall Purchasing Forum to hear updates and learn ePRo tips. It will be Oct. 4, in the Coliseum Skybox classroom, from 1-2:30 p.m.

Health and Wellness Coaching
The Wolf Wellness Lab is excited to announce that they will be offering health and wellness coaching once again this semester starting Monday, Sept. 9. A health and wellness coach is a professional who helps people assess their current wellness state and helps them set goals for what they want to achieve in their overall wellness and health by working with them on plans of action to reach these goals. 

Slots are open for Monday or Wednesday mornings 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and on Fridays
11 a.m.-3 p.m. This service is offered free of charge to all UWG employees . Please email wolfwellness@westga.edu if you are interested in making an appointment or to find out more information. 

The Work West Bulletin

The Work West Bulletin provides you with the information you need to get through your work week. This bulletin is a visually interactive way to share important dates, deadlines, policy changes and training information all in one place. The Work West Bulletin is published weekly on Monday to all faculty and staff.

Items can be submitted to the bulletin via email: report@westga.edu. Bulletin announcements (100 words or less) should be submitted by noon on Thursday before the following Monday's publishing date. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact UCM.
