Biking on Campus
UWG has applied for
Bike Friendly University Designation through the League of American Bicyclists. In an effort for the league to better understand the impact of biking on campus, they need your feedback. Please fill out this
survey before September 24, and help us make UWG a wonderful place to bike.
Green Zone Training
The Center for Adult Learning and Veterans is now offering Green Zone Training. Similar to Safe Zone Training, Green Zone provides participants with tools to understand the experience of military connected students and the confidence to act as advocates for them on campus. Sign up is through
DevelopWest. Location is provided upon registration.
A Day for the Annual Fund
In the past five years, over $600,000 has been contributed by members of the UWG faculty and staff to support scholarships, research and overall student success. It is with genuine appreciation that we say thank you for choosing to give back and support our students. Now is the time to make your gift to support our students. Your gift is tax-deductible, can be designated to your personal area of interest and will be put to work immediately to positively impact the lives of our students.Your donation can be made
online or by calling Armani Hansell at 678-839-4117. To make your gift by cash or check, please email
TJ Mills, and he will come to your office and pick up your gift.
Self Defense Class
The UWG Police Department will be holding a RAD women's self defense course. The course is four sessions and will meet on September 6, 13, 20 and 27, from 6-8 p.m. in The Coliseum aerobics room. Safety tactics, tehniques and habits will be covered. |
