The Work West Bulletin
The Work West Bulletin will provide you with the information you need to get through your work week. To more effectively communicate pertinent information, the Work West Bulletin replaces the Daily Report. This bulletin is a visually interactive way to share important dates, deadlines, policy changes, and training information all in one place. The Work West Bulletin will be published weekly on Mondays to all faculty and staff.
Items can be submitted to the bulletin via email:
report@westga.edu. Bulletin announcements (100 words or less) should be submitted by noon on Thursday before the following Monday's publishing date. All other events should be submitted to the official university
Events Calendar. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact UCM. We hope that you will find it helpful and informative. We look forward to continuing to improve how we share the great news of UWG with you.

* The Row Hall west wing elevator tower remains closed. Visitors to Row Hall should use the stairs. Additional ADA parking will be made available at the front of the building on University Drive.
* Due to restroom renovation in Cobb Hall, 9 parking spaces on Front Campus Drive will be blocked in order to be used for dumpsters and support of the construction activities. These spaces are located on the west side of Cobb Hall and directly across from the service and handicapped spaces. It is anticipated that the construction on this side of the building will last a few more weeks.

* Policy/Procedure Development Comment Period
UWG has implemented a new process that allows faculty, staff, and students to review and comment on draft policies and some procedures before they become official. A comment period gives you the opportunity to have a voice in the development of those policies that may affect you as part of the campus community.
The Policy Committee has completed its draft on the First Amendment and Protected Activity on Campus procedures for the institution. It can be accessed on the
Policies for Comment webpage through October 14.
Once you have reviewed the document, you may send any comments to
uwgpolicy@westga.edu.
