We have an exciting opportunity in just six weeks to return to Uganda with a small team and share the Good News of Jesus in schools, hospitals, prison and to hold a youth outreach festival. The first week will be in Lira – in the northern part of the country. This is the place where my first exposure to the great need and the great opportunity took place in 2009. This will be my 11th time going to serve in Uganda.
I’m looking forward to returning and ministering with my good friend, Pastor Apollo Nyankori, who is the Pastor of a church in the slum area of the town. He and his family are faithful servants of the Gospel.
The second week, we will go to Ishaka in the western part of the country and minister with Pastor Sam Musigire who launched his Church three years ago and has asked us to come and help with community outreach is this town. I just received the itinerary and budget today from Pastor Sam. It includes speaking at a Pastor’s conference, ministering on the University campus, making home visits to the poor and needy, going to schools and sharing the Gospel in the marketplace.
Our travel expenses are already covered, but we need to raise $4,000 in the next 6 weeks to cover the additional ministry expenses like food/supplies for the youth festival, tents, gifts for hospital patients, prisoners and those living in the slums. We also need 24 soccer balls, speakers, a generator and more.

I’m always humbled to see how the Lord works through our friends to help us reach the lost, the hurting and the hopeless. You can be certain that 100% of your gifts between now and the time we leave will go directly for the ministry expenses in Uganda.
We also need prayer warriors who will commit to pray for the team during the 2+ week mission and before as we make final preparations. I will also be traveling to Guatemala with Compassion the prior week, so especially need prayer for health, message preparations and strength to do all that the Lord has set before us.
