Change is in the air...

Summer is in full swing and changes are happening in most dioceses as priests are moved to better serve the people of God!

If your priest is leaving or a new priest is arriving, please throw them a special We Will Miss You or Welcome Reception!

The main aspect of any reception is appreciation and gratitude the parishioners show their priest!

Since every parish and ministry is different, click here to see pictures of three different levels of receptions: Simple, Moderate, and Complex.

I tell everyone to treat their priest as a beloved member of their family, and no matter how you celebrate, I promise the priest will appreciate your efforts!

Don’t forget to “Get to Know Your Priest” by asking him these 25 questions, and then share his answers in the bulletin or at the reception.

At our new pastor’s reception, we cut out each Question and Answer in a bubble shape and glued it to a popsicle stick. Then, we placed 10 Q&A popsicle sticks into a container that had hard craft foam at the bottom. They made super cute and informative centerpieces! The most important thing is that a new priest and his parishioners get to know each other.

    A new resource
Remember that envelope of pamphlets and prayer cards you received at the workshop? Have you ordered any yet? Here is a perfect opportunity to have your church book rack full of vocation resources.

Vianney Vocations’ new Vocation Starter Pack
takes the stress out of deciding which materials to pick.

You have four options, depending on your parish size, budget, and if you need Spanish resources. It includes my favorite prayer materials, too! Check them out and spread the word!
      Keep in Touch!

Don’t forget to email me back with your stories of triumph or struggle. I am here to support you in this mission of Building a Culture of Vocations One Parish at a Time!

As always, know that you are in my prayers. If you think of it, please pray for me, too.

        God bless you!
