We are excited to announce our first seasonal promotion for our members!

Beginning 7/31, a summer-themed postcard will be sent to all Medicare members along with packets of complimentary sunscreen and Band-Aids. The purpose of the mailer is to remind members of the OTC wellness items they can order every month at no cost. Our goal is to reduce disenrollment by highlighting an often overlooked member benefit just before Open Enrollment Period; only 11% of WellCare members currently utilize this benefit.

As previously communicated, 2018 Annual Certification Training (ACT) is scheduled to release on 8/15, and the annual training requirements must be met according to the timeframes outlined below:

Pre 10/1:
• 2017 ACT OR 2018 ACT
• 2017 AHIP OR 2018 AHIP

Post 10/1:
• 2018 ACT
• 2018 AHIP

Please note, 2018 ACT must be completed by 9/30 in order to avoid suspension from marketing/selling both 2017 and 2018 WellCare products.

As a reminder, AHIP released their 2018 Medicare training, and the 2017 version is no longer available. Keep in mind AHIP is one of our annual training requirements, and the 2018 version will suffice to market/sell both 2017 and 2018 WellCare products.

In addition, please ensure a successful transfer of your AHIP to WellCare through the steps outlined below:

BCs transmitting AHIP to WellCare for the first time:

1. Login to AHIP using the WellCare/AHIP co-branded link.
2. Access your profile.
3. Once in your profile, add either your National Producer Number (NPN) or WellCare University (LMS) ID to provide recognition for a successful transfer to WellCare. Your LMS ID is the username you use to login to WellCare University, and is typically the first initial of your first name, your last name and the last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN).

Example: JDoe0000 for John Doe ***-**-0000.

BCs who have previously transmitted AHIP to WellCare:

1. Login and complete 2018 AHIP.
2. After you have successfully completed the AHIP training, a “Completion Transmission” page will display confirming automatic submission of your AHIP score to WellCare University.
