Digital Dimensions transforms the museum’s galleries into a scenic environment that surrounds you with the
Genesis video series of Japanese media artist Naoko Tosa. The exhibition, which features the play of Japanese colored inks and dry ice in water captured by high-speed cameras, is Tosa’s sensual exploration of materials and the Zen concepts of chance. Accompanying the
Genesis series is the video art projection
Sound of Ikebana: Four Seasons.
Digital Dimensions is a balance of the artist’s renowned use of cutting edge technology and the work’s inspiration of traditional Rimpa, one of the major historical schools of Japanese painting with a 400-year legacy.
