A Success at IFFF

Lossed Stars Reid and Kohler
November 7th came and went, but will be remembered by the JACK family forevermore.  This was the day Lossed screened at the 20th Annual International Family Film Festival.  "It was truly international," commented Annette Reid, Producer, Writer and Star of the short.  She went on to regale us about her favorite from the weekend, Anchovies, the submission from Singapore, about a little boy from a fishing village.  Ms. Reid was extremely impressed that each of the films
Carrasco, Reid & Kohler
screened had a good story, great characters, and yet were able to present all of it without violence, blue language, or chase sequences.   Ms. Reid was also pleased to attend with fellow JACK members Carlos Carrasco, who directed the piece, and Jens Kohler, Reid's Co-Star.  Congratulations, Ms. Reid, on this and all of your achievements.

Here's to many more!!

Salutations,

Annette's
November Training Tip

It's Turkey time!  Or however you choose to celebrate Thanksgiving, it's time to feast.  Which means it's time for more training tips to keep you moving toward your goal of staying healthy and boosting your immune system to stave off injury or illness.  Check out Annette's November Tip and stay on that path to a healthier you.

You know the old saying, "You are what you eat."  Did you know, during training, you are what you drink?!  It is very important to replenish the electrolytes lost during workouts as well as stay hydrated with water.  Check out SPORTS DRINKS or even coconut water with natural electrolytes.  Just make sure your drink of choice doesn't have too much sugar.  You can mix your sports drink with water to accomplish both of these needs.  Annette recommends a waist water bottle holder or even a CamelbakTM to help you stay hydrated.
