JACK Production Meeting |
JACK's other founding members will be performing, too, along with Friends of JACK. That's something new.
Paw lick! The event is to be held Monday, October 12th, at 7:30 P.M., at their usual venue, the Park La Brea Multimedia Theatre. Nothing on the ticket-front as of yet. We'll have a link for reservations, information, etc... as the time draws nearer. For now, just save the date.
Salutations,

DEVELOPMENT DOINGS
|
JACK in order |
JACK (Jens, Annette, Carlos & Kent) wants their followers to rest assured that development on their latest film,
What If?, is proceeding as planned. This short, produced by Carlos Carrasco and featuring fellow JACK member Annette Reid, explores the consequences of asking and answering the question "what if"? Carrasco is working closely with the
What If?'s writer, as are all JACK members. "We're a tight knit group. We like each other," explains Reid. "That's part of our success formula. Stay tuned for more Development Doings.

Annette's Komen Tip
Free Mammograms
That's right - Free Mammograms. The Susan G. Komen Foundation is sponsoring Free Mammograms TOMMORROW at the Long Beach Rescue Mission. That's located at 1430 Pacific Avenue in Long Beach. Starting at 8am and ending at 2:30pm, it's practically all day long. The refreshments are free and there will be gifts for those who participate. You don't need to bring anything unless you want to bring a friend. The more the merrier.
There are some caviats. You must be uninsured or underinsured. You must be 40 or older. You can't have had a mammogram in the last year. Other than that, you're good to go. And, if any cancer is detected, all treatment is provided by BCCTP (an anacronym for Breast and Cervical Cancer Treatment Program, which is a California Department of Healthcare Service.)
So come on out, have some treats, meet some friends, and make sure you're protected from breast cancer.
