Annette Reid Does Know JACK

has recently learned that Annette Reid is the "A" in JACK, the production company formed by Annette and her friends Jens Kohler, Carlos Carrasco, and Kent Minault. (Get it? Clever, huh?) JACK is a project of the Pasadena Arts Council's EMERGE Fiscal Sponsorship Program. (There’s a mouthful !! And here’s the link.) With that sponsorship, JACK was able to create several masterpieces. First, was
Honesty, Pencil, Rose, which was a Finalist at the International Family Film Festival in 2011. Second, they were able to produce a benefit supporting TreePeople. They mounted William Shakespeare’s
A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by JACK's Carlos Carrasco (the ‘C’) at the S. Mark Taper Foundation Amphitheatre in TreePeople’s Coldwater Canyon Park. And it starred none other than Annette Reid as Titania.

STARCRAFT AGENCY ANNOUNCES
LOSSED STARRING ANNETTE REID
Paula McAfee, of Starcraft Agency, is pleased to announce that JACK, the team that brought you
Honesty, Pencil, Rose, is now in pre-production for their latest film,
LOSSED. Written by and starring Annette Reid,
LOSSED is a drama about relationships in which people learn the real complications of loss. With script revisions and location scouting about to wrap, shooting will take place in the first half of 2014, leaving post-production for summer.

Annette Reid Activist for
Race for the Cure
Annette is participating again in the Komen LA County Race for the Cure in 2014. The past few years she has been in charge of the event as Committee Co-Chair. This year she became a Board member for Komen LA, and is very excited about her continued involvement with the Affiliate.
The race is earlier this year, on March 1st, but still at Dodger Stadium. There is the classic 5K walk and the new certified 10K. She will be walking this year with friends and family to celebrate her 12th year of survivorship. So come walk or run, but be sure to come celebrate with us.
