Love These Days" evening of Poetry starring
Reel PROs very own Annette Reid. Poetry and Love are two of those things that make the human experience worth experiencing. Leave it to JACK to put the two together. Their next brilliant move was to cast Ms. Reid.
As we saw last month in her Titania's Earth Mother speech from
A Midsummer Night's Dream, Ms. Reid's dramatic flare and lyrical command of the language bring a distictive clarity to the poetry of Shakespeare. We can only imagine the depths to which the audience will be transported during this soul-searching, multi-media event. The curtain rises at 7:30 on Sunday and Monday, February 9th and 10th in the Park LaBrea Activities Center Multimedia Theater. Admission is free, but a donation of $8-$10 is suggested. JACK, the team that brought you
Honesty, Pencil, Rose, is pleased to announce that their latest film,
LOSSED, is currently location scouting. Written by and starring JACK's own Annette Reid,
LOSSED is a drama about relationships in which people learn the real complications of loss. JACK is currently searching for a cafe with a table by a picture window through which characters may watch the goings on out on the small street. If you know of the perfect place, email JACK here. Race for the Cure
On March 1st, Annette will be walking in the Susan G. Koman's
Race for the Cure. In the latest installment of her video log, Annette explains she races for her Aunt Geri, the Magic Clown, her mother's sister. Aunt Geri survived breast cancer when she was in her early 60's only to succumb to it at 82. And, boy, did she live a life! Click here for Annette's v-log explanation. This year she'll walk with friends and family to celebrate her 12th year of survivorship.
