Annette Reid's
Let Me Finish Festival Bound
She's done it again.  e-tuxedocat's very own Annette Reid and her film Let Me Finish have been chosen to participate in the Newport Beach Film Festival.  The last communication she received was a request for more production stills.  Keep your fingers crossed and we'll see yet another Laurel to match the ones from last month's Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards for Lossed.  She's so busy walking all these Red Carpets (that's Annette on the right in the picture below) that she hasn't had any time to start something new.

That's okay, Annette. Just enjoy the moment.  There'll be more to come, but revel in your glory for now.

Until next month...

Salutations,

March 7th is only 1 week away.   Annette and her team are focused on two things: collecting donations and training.   That's it.  They won't even talk about the Oscars until the Race is over.  To date, Annette has received $4188 in donations, with a team total of over $6537, closer still to that $10,000 finish line.  If you'd like to donate to the cause, it's as easy as clicking on this link to Annette's Donation Page.  Keep up the good work, Team Reid!

Be sure to click on the picture (left) to watch the CBS coverage of the L.A. Race.  Annette said, "If I could get everyone to watch this story, I would be very happy!"

Training Tip of the Month - February

  • Let’s focus on what you LOVE about the Race for the Cure, about Komen, the people you love who have been affected by breast cancer this week. That is WHY you are doing this. Remember your WHY when you feel like you can’t walk or run one more step.
  • Make your run or walk this week a meditative practice in remembering WHY you do this with every step. Your love will get you through and motivate you to keep you going.
  • Are you ready to step up your game at this year’s Race for the Cure? Then it’s time to “Double Down!” with Komen’s 10K. Take on twice the challenge of our marquee 5K course to challenge yourself, your friends, & family! Register today: www.komenlacounty.org/race
