Annette Reid
Presents JACK...

Annette Reid and JACK have done it again, starting an annual tradition in the process.  Their first ever "Year End / Year Beginning" Celebration was a huge success.  Held December 8th at the Park LaBrea Activities Center Theater, JACK collected toys from their generous audience to be donated to the Sparks of Love Toy Drive.  And was the poetry exquisite.  (Of course it was. This is JACK we're taking about.)
Showcasing audience favorites, Monday night was a "Greatest Hits" from 2014.  e-tuxedocat's very own Annette Reid performed  Midwinter Benediction by Orna Ross and To The New Year by W.S. Merwin.  So beautiful and so perfect.  Double tail swish!  After it was all over, Annette was heard to say, "We had so much fun, I think we've started an annual year end event!"   We sure hope so.  A
wonderful time was had by all.  Yeow!

Until next month...

Salutations,

Happy Holidays & All the Best in 2015!

Annette Reid Race for the Cure Training Tips

Training Tip of the Month - December

  • A lot of people are on vacation this time of year. Instead of using that as an excuse to stop doing your training walks/runs, use it as a way to explore a new area!
  • Taking a walk with family and friends who you are visiting is a great way to spend some time together and catch up while getting some training in.
  • It’s also a great way to explore a new area for those who are visiting you! Have out of towners in for the holidays? Show them around your neighborhood by taking them on a walk!
