Annette Reid's
Mom Turns 94!
|
Roberta in her WAC uniform |
The last
e-tuxedocat heard about Annette Reid was that the Matt Goss video, in which she is featured, was released on Mother's Day. Sticking with that theme, Mother, Annette is pleased as punch to announce that her mother, Roberta Rawson Reid, just turned 94 on July 24th. Besides being Annette's mom, Roberta served as a Sergeant in the Women's Army Corp, (WAC). The same WACs Cheap Trick referred to in their famous song
Surrender, also featured in Eddie Murphy's
Daddy Day Care. Thank you for that Roberta. Annette spent the day in Ohio, celebrating with family and friends. She told us that she is so grateful to have such a healthy and vibrant mother.

Roberta turns 94! |
She feels especially fortunate as so many of her friends have lost their mothers over the years. Happy Birthday, Roberta. Here's to many more to come.
Yeow!
Salutations,

This short will be produced by Carlos Carrasco and will feature other JACK members, particularly Annette Reid. Secrecy prevails currently so all that can be said is that the short film features 6 characters and that JACK's producers are scouting locations and creating the budget. Updates to follow as soon as available.

Annette's Training Tips for All
People say you are what you eat, but when it comes to training, you are what you drink!
It is very important to stay hydrated. Especially in these hot, summer, drought driven times. Drink sports drinks, or even coconut water with NATURAL ELECTROLYTES, as well as WATER. These drinks allow you to absorb the water you are drinking. If you like, mix them together in your bottle.
Try a waist water bottle holder or a Camelbak to always have hydration with you. |
