THANK YOU to the parents that have been so generous! It’s because of you that our HHS teachers and staff can have some extra sunshine at school! They are so very appreciative!

There is still so much more we want to do this year, and you can still help! Donations of gift cards will all go directly to the teachers and staff! You can also make a monetary donation by visiting our website, www.huntsvillehighptsa.org, and selecting Sunshine Committee under the donations section.

Thank you again!

Admission Cost: Admission granted with the purchase of a golf ball or the donation of one container of laundry detergent per family. Golf balls are

1 for $30
4 for $100

and can be purchased in 3 ways... Via the new HHS Football website, GoFan or by check.

1) If buying on the website (hhspanthers.org), click on the Registrations link at the top of the page.
2) By GoFan, use the GoFan QR code above or go to GoFan.co and search for "Big Red Pride, Inc."
3) If paying by check, please make the check payable to "Big Red Pride, Inc." and include your phone number on the check. Checks can be turned in to Coach Fleetwood or any of the following Booster Club members: Will Gray, Jon Murray or Tricia Murray.

A limited number of golf balls will be available for purchase the day of the event. Purchasers will be assigned a number for each of their golf balls. Immediately following the scrimmage, golf balls will be dropped in the middle of the field from a boom lift. The closest ball to the pin wins the $3000 grand prize. (In the event of a tie, prize money will be split equally). Participants do not need to be present to win. All proceeds go to support the Huntsville High School Football team.

2022-2023 HHS Golf Team Tryouts

HHS Golf Tryouts for this school year are planned for Tuesday 8/23 and Wednesday 8/24 at 4:00 pm at the Robert Trent Jones -  Hampton Cove Highlands course.  Rain date will be 8/25 if necessary.

We will play/walk 9 holes per day.  Fee of $25 is due before play each day. This includes one range token.

A physical is required for participation.  These can be found at AHSAA.com.  The physical must have player, parent, and doctor’s signature with date.  Also, you must be academically eligible.  If you are a rising 10th, 11th, or 12th grader, you must have passed all your core courses with a 70 average and be academically on track; otherwise, you cannot participate.

Contact Coach Allen Bradshaw at john.bradshaw@hsv-k12.org with any questions. Coach Bradshaw's classroom is Room 248 in the main building.

Tryouts are for new prospects only.

Please arrive with at least a basic knowledge of the rules of golf.  Also, you must have your own clubs.

We are a championship level program, so tryouts are normally very competitive.  This is a varsity sport and not a recreational club.  We compete on the highest level.

Senior Yearbook Information
This year, students will be required to submit an application to have their Quotes, Baby Pictures, Activities, etc., included in the Yearbook.

Senior Information Applications/Packets will be handed out to students during Homecoming Week. Copies will be made available in the Front Office of the main building and in Mrs. Peck’s room 226. There will also be digital copies posted in the Senior Schoology group, on the Yearbook Facebook Page, and in the Yearbook Schoology group.

We understand how important it is for Seniors to have the opportunity to have all the special parts of themselves included in their final yearbook. For this reason, we have implemented ways to prevent student information from being left out. The ONLY way for a student to have their information included in the Yearbook is to submit the packet application in its entirety prior to the due date. There will be no exceptions. The packets will be due 11/01/2022.
