There will be a CyberPatriot Organizational Meeting for all students that are interested in trying out for the 20232-2023 CyberPatriot teams at Huntsville High this year.  The meeting will be held on Aug 23rd, 2022 before school (7:30am) in room 237 (next to the Internet Café in the Main building).  Students should enter the main building from the Main Courtyard between the Main building and the Freshman Academy.  If an interested student cannot attend, then need to see Mr. Morse (rm 237) or Col. Murphy if they are a JROTC student.

Parents are welcome to attend if interested.

Training for interested students will be held after school (3:45 to 5:15) on Aug 24, 30, and 31 followed in September on Sept.  1, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, and 15.  Students should attend as many sessions as they can.

Tryouts are set for Sept 20, 21,  and 22 where students will be tested on their Linux, Windows and Networking knowledge.

2022-2023 HHS Golf Team Tryouts

HHS Golf Tryouts for this school year are planned for Tuesday 8/23 and Wednesday 8/24 at 4:00 pm at the Robert Trent Jones -  Hampton Cove Highlands course.  Rain date will be 8/25 if necessary.

We will play/walk 9 holes per day.  Fee of $25 is due before play each day. This includes one range token.

A physical is required for participation.  These can be found at AHSAA.com.  The physical must have player, parent, and doctor’s signature with date.  Also, you must be academically eligible.  If you are a rising 10th, 11th, or 12th grader, you must have passed all your core courses with a 70 average and be academically on track; otherwise, you cannot participate.

Contact Coach Allen Bradshaw at john.bradshaw@hsv-k12.org with any questions. Coach Bradshaw's classroom is Room 248 in the main building.

Tryouts are for new prospects only.

Please arrive with at least a basic knowledge of the rules of golf.  Also, you must have your own clubs.

We are a championship level program, so tryouts are normally very competitive.  This is a varsity sport and not a recreational club.  We compete on the highest level.

Athletic Events
With the start of the Fall Athletic Season, we wanted to remind everyone of Huntsville City Schools’ guidelines for spectators of athletic events.  Spectators will need to purchase tickets through GoFan as has been done in the past.

Huntsville City Schools will implement an athletic event clear bag/backpack procedure. That procedure is as follows:
•    To be permitted, bags will be clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and not exceed 12"x6"x12".
•    Small bags do not need to be clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC only if they do not exceed 4.5"x6.5".
•    For full details, please visit the HCS Athletics page at www.huntsvillecityschools.org/athletics
•    Please note spectators may be subject to metal detector searches upon entering venues.  Please plan additional entry time for entry.
We look forward to an exciting athletic season and wish everyone the best of luck!

Senior Yearbook Information
This year, students will be required to submit an application to have their Quotes, Baby Pictures, Activities, etc., included in the Yearbook.

Senior Information Applications/Packets will be handed out to students during Homecoming Week. Copies will be made available in the Front Office of the main building and in Mrs. Peck’s room 226. There will also be digital copies posted in the Senior Schoology group, on the Yearbook Facebook Page, and in the Yearbook Schoology group.

We understand how important it is for Seniors to have the opportunity to have all the special parts of themselves included in their final yearbook. For this reason, we have implemented ways to prevent student information from being left out. The ONLY way for a student to have their information included in the Yearbook is to submit the packet application in its entirety prior to the due date. There will be no exceptions. The packets will be due 11/01/2022.
