The Huntsville Bass Anglers, a high school community fishing team associated with Huntsville High, is recruiting anglers and boat captains for the 2022-2023 season. We will be fishing the Alabama B.A.S.S. Nation tournament trail and possibly ASABFA this year.
Ideal new student anglers have access to a boat (family/friend) and/or have experience fishing larger lakes as we only have a few positions open.

Whether you are returning for your fourth and final year at Huntsville High School, or you are new to our school, district, or state, welcome! We are excited to work with you to make 2022-23 the best school year yet!

CAR RIDERS
Students may be dropped off as early as 7:30 AM. You will enter campus through GATE #5. This gate is off of Marsheutz, next to the Softball Field.
Remember that GATE #5 is entry only. You may be in either the right lane or the left lane. Those in the right lane may drop off in front of the wrestling building/baseball field and then exit campus through GATE #1. Those in the left lane will proceed to the back of the Freshman Academy, drop off / pick up, and then follow the paw print to exit through GATE #4. Remember that GATE #4 is exit only and is also a right turn only onto Marsheutz.
Only special needs students may be dropped off in front of the main building along Bob Wallace. Please do not drop off in this area if you do not have a special needs student. Extra cars makes this a congested and dangerous area for our special needs students.
GATE #3 is for buses and faculty only.
No students may be dropped off or picked up in front of the Freshman Academy. No students may be dropped off or picked up along Billie Watkins or Marsheutz
STUDENTS DRIVING TO SCHOOL
First, remind your student to drive safely on campus. If it is their first time driving to school, we recommend they leave the house earlier than they expect they need. If your student was issued a parking pass for the 2022-23 school year, they should park in that space. For the first week of school, if your student has not yet been issued a parking pass, they may park in spaces 350 – 578 in the student parking lot.
BUS RIDERS
If your student rides a bus, you may find the bus routes here: https://www.huntsvillecityschools.org/busroutes. If you need to request a bus stop may call Apple Bus Company at (256) 361-0919.
