Food for Fines rolls out!
Food for Fines is Back!
November 1st - December 31st

Food for Fines is the Library's
program which allows patrons with
fines on their books to have them
forgiven in exchange for donations
of food items for local good causes.

Last year Plainfield went beyond
all expectations with a huge
900lbs+ of food for humans, and
over 20lbs of food for pets, so
hopes are high for a big result this
time too!

For every non-perishable food item (can or box) brought to the Library you will get $1 off of
your fines.

Non-perishable pet item donations will also be accepted at $1 off fines per can/bag/box of food/litter/treats.

Non-fine related donations are also gratefully accepted.

** Not applicable for lost books or collection fees. ** A maximum of 20 items per cardholder.

All food items received will be donated to Star-Fish. Pet food donations will be given to the
Plainfield Area Humane Society.
