Food For Fines in Full Swing!

Our annual food drive is underway and has begun stockpiling supplies for those in need. We'll also accept donations if you don't have fines to cancel out, of course. Help us make this year's contribution a great one!
New Donation Bin for Better World Books

It's now possible to donate your gently used books to Better World Books using the donation bin now sited at the rear of the Library near the junction of Park Avenue and 9th Street.

It's a big green metal box and it looks a lot like this:

Better World Books donates some of the proceeds of selling second hand books to charities and has so far raised millions of dollars for literacy.

The Library still accepts direct donations of Children's materials, DVDs, and audiobooks on CD by appointment. The new donation bin provides patrons who wish to donate books for adults with a means to give them to a social venture that benefits literacy projects.

Please be careful not to place Library materials in the donation bin by mistake, as Library staff do not have access to the contents.
