'Tis the season to get reading! Say goodbye to 2025 by discovering new reads, attending engaging programs, reflecting on the year, and preparing for the new adventures ahead. Whether you're able to get to us at one of our events around the city or would rather enjoy all the benefits of your library card from home, we're not letting our ongoing construction or the frost outside stop us from ending the year off strong!
Your library card grants you access to more than 50 online databases, where you can access eBooks, audiobooks, movies, research tools, and more - all from the comfort of home. Want to get out of the house? We will share events being held in our community that will keep you connected, informed, and engaged on our social media. Follow us there so you never miss an update.
This month, we're inviting you to join us in the spirit of giving by participating in #GivingTuesday and consider donating to our library. When you donate to the Plainfield Public Library, you invest in a future where everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow, and explore for generations to come.
Thank you to all the students, parents, volunteers, and staff who make our library as special as it is. We can't wait to laugh, learn, and grow more with you in 2026 as we explore all our library has to offer!
We wish you all a safe and happy New Year!

Give a little. Change a chapter. 💙
This #GivingTuesday, you have the opportunity to help us keep a 140-year-old tradition of supporting every step of someone's learning journey alive. When you donate to our library, you invest in a future where everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow, and explore for generations to come. Every gift - no matter how small - helps us expand programs, update resources, and create a welcoming space for all.
🔗 Together, we can write the next chapter of our library’s story.
