JANUARY 2026

We’re excited for all that 2026 will bring as we begin a brand-new year full of stories, learning, and discovery. Whether your goal is to read more, try a new genre, enjoy the works of a new author, or spend a little extra time exploring all you library card has to offer, we’re here to help you get started.

 

Your Plainfield Library card grants you access to more than 50 online databases, where you can access eBooks, audiobooks, movies, research tools, and more - all from the comfort of home. Want to get out of the house? We will share events being held in our community that will keep you connected, informed, and engaged on our social media. Follow us there so you never miss an update.

Even though we are closed this month, you can still get books by using our curbside pickup service.

Monday, October 13 with a reopening date that is yet to be announced.

The process is simple:
  1. Find the book you want on  STELLA and place it on hold
  2. Arrange a Pick-Up Time with our Circulation Staff
  3. Come to the library and call us
