From the Desk of the Director...

Library Director Mary Ellen Rogan

Happy New Year and Welcome to 2020! The New Year will bring some new programming and some changes to other programs and services we have offered. Cinema Tuesday, which has run on Tuesday afternoons at 1:00 PM will be transitioning to Friday Flix on Friday afternoons at 2:00 PM. It is our hope that the new time will be more convenient for those of you who want to enjoy an afternoon film. Come and join us! Another new program, introduced in December, is Adults Craft Too. We hope this will appeal to those of you with a creative bent and introduce you to some new and interesting craft projects.

As always, if you have an idea for a new program at the Library let the staff know. We are always looking for new ideas, after all this is your library and we are here for you!

The optional topic for January is something that does or once did make your life easier. This is a very broad topic that could cover anything from the bike that you got for your eighth birthday, that let you explore the neighborhood, to learning that talking to a shy person helps you to feel less shy, yourself. For this one, just think about whether there's anything that ever made your life easier.

New members are always welcome!
