Qello Music Nights Documentary:
The Miles Davis Story
Wednesday, March 14th
5:30 pm in the Anne Louise Davis Room

Miles Davis was a catalyst for the major innovations in post-bop, cool jazz, hard-bop, and jazz-fusion. He was also one of the most identifiable and misunderstood pop icons of the 20th century. This engrossing documentary shows the complex layers of this magnificent and mercurial artist.

This program will use Qello, the library's free concert-streaming service.

You can use Qello at home too! Just visit the library website’s databases page  at http://plainfieldlibrary.info/Research/Databases.html
to log in and choose a concert for your own viewing pleasure.

The Miles Davis Story
Memoir Writing Club
Thursday, March 8th
10:30 am in room 8 (lower level)

This month's optional writing topic is "relatives".

The library's Memoir Writing Club offers members a comfortable forum for sharing stories of important events, friendships, and family history. Do you have memories that you would like to share? Come join the Memoir Writing Club. Before a session, participants write down their memories - creating a Memoir. During meetings, members share what they've written on a topic. At the end of each meeting the group chooses an optional topic for the next session, but individual members are free to write about whatever inspires them.
