Photographer Meet & Greet
Women in Union County History
Saturday, March 4, 2023
11:30AM in the ALD Room
This is an on-site program
Noted photographer, author, and educator, Nancy Ori will present a lecture and slide show based on her photographs currently on display at the Library. The program will highlight the story of women in Union County history. The images provide a balance of subject matter between the architecture, furniture, costumes, and artifacts that reflect the women and young girls who lived, worked, and played in Union County in earlier times. Some images are romantic in style and provide a contrast to the bold forms of kitchen tools and objects presented almost as sculptures, while some are of artistically composed room set-ups to provide more formal images and stories.
Come out to meet Nancy and see the exhibition before it leaves Plainfield! The exhibit ends on March 11, 2023.
