Halloween Party
October 31st
3:30 pm in the Anne Louise Davis Room

It's Halloween Again!

This year our halloween children's events will fall on the day itself, so children can come join the fun with their costume - or come and make one! Spooky stories and movies will be on offer and the trick-or-treaters will have the chance to make their way round the Library to wow the librarians with their costumes and/or spooktastic halloween-y vibe (and maybe collect a little candy on the way!)
Plainfield Genealogy Club
Saturday, November 3rd
1 pm in the ALD room (lower level)

The Plainfield Genealogy Club now has a Facebook page!

Join the fun here.

Are you interested in discovering your family history? Do you need help using genealogical resources? Would you like to meet other family historians?  Come to the next meeting on Saturday, November 3 at 1 pm.  This program is free and open to anyone interested in genealogy - beginner or experienced!

Memoir Writing Club
Thursday, Novmber 8th
10:30 am in room 8 (lower level)

This month's optional writing topic is "Costumes".

The Library's Memoir Writing Club offers members a comfortable forum for sharing stories of important events, friendships, and family history. Do you have memories that you would like to share? Come join the Memoir Writing Club. Before a session, participants write down their memories - creating a Memoir. During meetings, members share what they've written on a topic. At the end of each meeting the group chooses an optional topic for the next session, but individual members are free to write about whatever inspires them.
