Halloween Party & Parade Was A Big Hit!

 


















Over 100 people came to our 2nd Annual Halloween Party on Friday, October 30th. Children were read spooky stories, watched a movie, and took part in a parade inside the library. Members from different departments greeted them as they trick-or-treated throughout the library.


Local History Department To Receive Award
 
The Local History Department at the Plainfield Public Library has been selected to receive the New Jersey Historical Commission’s Award of Recognition for its significant contributions to the history of New Jersey. The award will be presented at the Commission’s annual history conference in Newark on November 21, 2015, Fighting for Justice: 20th-Century Activism in New Jersey. Department Head Sarah Hull will accept the award on the Library's behalf.
