Summer was a blast! Although our construction forced us to be closed for some of it, the enthusiasm of our staff and patrons helped our programs, services, and spirit be felt throughout the Queen City.
It's sad to see summer fade away, but the good news is we have fun, creative, and educational programming ready all year long. And our shelves are always full and waiting for you to pick out your next favorite read.
Keep scrolling to get a glimpse of what we have planned in September and how you can make the most of your local library. And don't forget, we are officially back to our Fall Hours! |

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month!
Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to honor and celebrate the vibrant contributions of the Hispanic and Latinx community to America's culture, the arts, and - of course - literature. From poetry to fiction, memoirs to magical realism, Hispanic authors have enriched the literary world with their unique voices, perspectives, and stories.
Hispanic literature is deeply intertwined with the Latinx experience often exploring themes of migration, identity, family, and resilience. Isabelle Allende, Gabriel García Márquez, and Sandra Cisneros, to name just a few, have expanded the boundaries of storytelling and provided windows into diverse lives and struggles.
