It's been a fantastic summer at the Plainfield Public Library! We made dinosaur eggs, watched the World Cup together, held a dinosaur dance party, received free eye exams, took time to explore our creativity in art classes, and more! But don't worry, just because summer is over doesn't mean fun at the library is.
We have programs planned for visitors of all ages, online databases that are packed with information, shelves filled with new stories, and a library ready to keep you informed and entertained!
Keep reading so you don't miss a thing!

The September Read is Snake-Eater by T. Kingfisher. With only a few dollars to her name and her beloved dog Copper by her side, Selena flees her past in the city to claim her late aunt’s house in the desert town of Quartz Creek - only to find herself beholden to the wrath of a vengeful god. Kingfisher is an expert with fantasy, myth and fairy tales as well as horror, and this book combines them in something reviewers are calling "cozy horror."
While there will be spoilers, it's ok to attend even if you didn't finish the book!
Visit the Circulation Desk for a copy of the book or you can borrow it from another STELLA library.
