The mission of the Plainfield Public Library is
to
provide all citizens of Plainfield full and equal access to information resources, technologies, and programs for a lifetime of learning and cultural enrichment, by promoting literacy, preserving the history of the community, and serving as a community center. Guided by the City’s Master Plan, our Strategic Planning process will explore and evaluate our current services by interpreting your survey answers and the information gained via four, in-person focus groups. We will use the analysis to update library services, wherever possible, in order to fulfill the needs of everyone who lives, works, or goes to school in the Queen City.
