In week 10 we were undefeated at 2-0-1! I will take this every week of the year and it was a great bounceback from a difficult week 9.
The overall record against the spread is now 78-60-5, 56.52%. This is phenomenal to anyone who knows handicapping.
In week 11, take the following:
(1) On Thursday Night Football, take the Steelers +3 away against the Browns (Jazz Live, -115).
The next two games are on Sunday.
(2) Take the Broncos +10.5 away against the Vikings (Jazz Live, -110).
(3) Take the Buccaneers +5 home against the Saints (Jazz Live, -110).
There might be another pick or two later in the week. The line feed I use over at SportsWatchMonitor.com has been down all week so far, so there were slim pickings, but it should be resolved soon in which case I might see some more attractive picks.
In review, we are now 78-60-5 overall picking sides against a known line. This is really quite excellent. But with only 138 win or loss games played, there is a long way to go to achieve statistical certainty at a level I am comfortable with, but everything is smooth sailing so far. One thing different from what I am doing versus so many others is that I am tough on myself. I will not declare victory until there are over 300, and maybe even 400 picks in ... and we probably need 1000 to convince some of the slower learners in sports!
