HAVEN'T HAD A LOSING WEEK!
Let's keep it that way!
Week 5 was whacky, but we survived with a 4-4 record. 50% weeks never kill you and at least we did not have a losing week. The overall record well into the third year is an extremely impressive and rare:
139-94-7 (59.66%, +3552)
Keep in mind that this is only picking sides against a known spread (or line). We make no straight up picks (also known as money line picks) and we make no totals picks. It is within this niche specialty, but also the one people are most familiar with, that I have slowly but surely begun a process nothing short of world dominance. LOL ... Excuse the possible arrogance there ... but those who know me know I am humble and somewhat joking. At the same time it is factually accurate as we have been consistently at or near the top of the world in this endeavor.
We dropped from #1 in the world to #4 overall on the Sports Watch Monitor. Nothing to lose sleep over. Everything can, and usually does, change from week to week, so it's better to keep a long-term focus over a 17 game regular season. Covid19 has also made this a more difficult season to predict than most. Ironically, we are having our best season in 3 seasons so far.
In Week 6 we made 10 picks. I am continuing the pattern of making many picks to see how that works out. It has not hurt the record yet, but if it does I will greatly reduce the number of weekly picks as I was doing last year.
And so we pick 10 games this week:
Lions at Jaguars
Falcons at Vikings
Washington Football Team at Giants
Browns at Steelers
Ravens at Eagles
Bengals at Colts
Jets at Dolphins
Packers at Buccaneers
Rams at 49ers
Chiefs at Bills (Monday Night)
