Hello! I was going to give my picks here for week 8, but the pickings in week 8 are almost slim and none, so I will send you another newsletter later in the week after I see how the lines move. 

The overall record against the spread is now 73-54-4 (57.48%, +1385). We are also ranked currently #18 in the world over at Sports Watch Monitor, a website that has been tracking the best handicappers in the world for many years with all picks public and total transparency. Our record over there is 19-13 (59%) this year, and the exact same as in these picks. Those picks at SWM always match the picks I made on the Football Shrink site. 

Last week, we made 4 picks, and split 50/50.  We hit correctly on the Dolphins (imagine that - they covered!) and on the Patriots, and we just missed with the Texans, and bombed with the Broncos.

In review, we are now 73-54-4 overall.  This is phenomental, but it is still very early. With only 127 games now in the tank, there is a long way to go to achieve statistical certainty at a level I am comfortable with, but everything is good so far. And that is one thing different from what I am doing versus so many others. I am tough on myself. I will not declare victory until there are over 300, and maybe even 400 picks in ... and we probably need 1000 to convince some of the meat heads in sports! LOL
