Pickleball This Sunday!
Do you play pickleball? Are you interested in learning the fastest growing sport in the nation?  If the weather forecast holds true, we will have an informal pickleball get together this Sunday, February 24, at 2:00pm at the tennis courts.

Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a Whiffle Ball, over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports, the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules somewhat similar to tennis, with several modifications.  Our Bay Creek courts have already been striped for Pickleball.

One of our newest residents, Debra Facciolli, is an avid Pickleball enthusiast and would like to share her love of the sport with Bay Creekers. Over time, we hope to form an active league in our community.  There will be three experienced players to give instruction and explain the rules on Sunday.  If you have questions, please call Debi at 610-468-5554 or you can reach her by email.
