Sunday July 13: Roz the Diva Workshops

This workshop is designed for both students and instructors to learn about defining plus size, the importance of instructor diversity, class structure, and lots of spotting techniques!

Sunday July 27: Head over Fins: A Handstand Workshop
1 PM - 2:30 PM
Whether you’re dreaming of your first handstand or looking to refine your form, this 90-minute workshop is your foundation for confident, safe, and sustainable handstand progressions for every level. Led by guest instructor Erica, this class focuses on the fundamentals of handstands, with an emphasis on safety, technique, and body awareness. You’ll be guided through core activation, control drills, shoulder stability & more with tips you can take home afterwards! This is an inclusive, judgment-free workshop where you can build strength and confidence at your own pace - whether you’re kicking up at the wall or experimenting with shapes and balance.
No experience required - just a desire to defy gravity.

Jenni's moving to Mondays!
Start your week of with Jenni! In July you can find Int/Adv tricks from 5:15 - 6:30, Poleography from 6:45 - 7:45, and Mixed Level Tricks from 8 - 9 PM. Starting in August, you can join Jenni for the Beginner/Intermediate Group Tricks Routine at 5:15, and the Poleography Group Routine at 6:45.

Join Nicki for her new class Pole Precision on Tuesdays at 7:30 PM.
Refine your skills and elevate your practice in this focused technique class. Bring a trick you're working on or choose from an instructor-recommended move. We'll break it down, build it up, and polish each element - so you can master the fundamentals and sharpen your execution. Whether you're perfecting your climb, spin, or invert, this class is all about precision, confidence, and progress as you prepare for the next level of your pole journey.

Whether you’re a brand-new baby Siren or a seasoned spin queen, our student showcase is your chance to step into the spotlight and let your talent shimmer. Show off your strength, creativity, and flair in front of your fellow magical misfits!
Showcases are more than just a performance—they’re a moment to check in with yourself. You’ve been working hard, and this is your chance to celebrate that progress. Even if you still feel like a newbie, this is an incredible way to push past your comfort zone, build confidence, and keep leveling up—
all in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
✨ Cost to perform? $0. Nada. Free.
✨ Who Can Apply? Anyone who has taken a class at Spinning Sirens.

Flying Pole vs Spinning Pole
Hi my sparkly sirens! It’s your mermaid mom here, swimming up from
Valentia’s Vault to tell you about something that makes my fins flutter—flying pole! If you’ve ever wanted to channel your inner
Cirque du Soleil goddess, this is the class for you. Unlike regular pole, flying pole hangs freely from above—no base, just air—so it swings, floats, and adds an extra layer of magic (and challenge!) to every move. It’s a little circus, a little sass, and a lot of fun.
We’re hosting our next flying pole pop-up on Thursday, June 27 at 10:30 AM, and I’ll be leading it! We’ll be working with two types of flying poles—
powder-coated and
silicone-coated—so you can explore what feels best for your grip and movement style. And yes, mermaids, you
can wear clothes—leggings, pants, whatever you’re comfy in. Flying pole loves skin contact, but with silicone especially, fabric is your friend! If you’re curious what this magical madness looks like, check out the videos below. Come float with me—it’s wilder than a rip current and twice as fun!
